- Summary
- TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: SHIFT LEVER POSITION INSPECTION & DETENT DAMPER REPLACEMENT FOR REMOTE START FAILURE - This bulletin provides information to inspect the shift lever position and, if necessary, replace the shift lever detent damper on some 2022-2023MY Stinger H-MATIC (CK) vehicles produced from December 23, 2020 through October 30, 2022. The shift lever detent damperâÂÂs angled design may cause interference between the detent damper and the shift lever Park 'P' switch resulting in the Integrated Body Control Unit (IBU) not registering 'P'. This can render the Remote Start function inoperative when either using the key fob or Kia Access App.
