Sunroof exploded and rained pieces of glass into car while driving down highway: 1 - was not struck by rock. There were no cars within 2 miles either direction. 2 - sounded like a loud "pop." A loud, but dull noise - not a sharp sound like something striking car. 3 - there is a hole in the center of the sunroof about 4X8 inches with the broken glass around the edges pointing up - looks like it exploded upward. The rest of the sunroof is now cracked safety glass. 4 - road was smooth highway, temperature was about 85F, all windows on car were closed with ac on.
