There’s a know problem with the control screen/navigation in the Lexus vehicles. The dealer replaced the timing change cover gasket and airbag on my 2104 gx460. They had to disconnect the battery to do this knowing the screen may not reboot and start working but finally it did after about 3 days. They didn’t even tell my wife about it when she picked it up. They also replaced the faulty air bag from a recall notice. Very simple to keep 12 volt on system while removing battery connection. Park Place Lexus Grapevine Texas. I am gonna remove access covers and see that the cover was done correctly, check belts and all the bolts are tight, geeesh. I hear their techs a rejects from more reputable mechanic shops.

If ou take your vehicle in ask them; are ya gonna disconnect the battery cable, please keep 12 volts on the control screen.
