This problem is intermittent. About half the time I drive slowly, either pulling in or out of a parking space, the parking assist will go crazy. Even if I'm backing up or there's nothing in front of me the left front sensor will detect something right on top of it and beep until I start driving faster. Of course you could simply turn it off but I like the parking assist feature so I would like to fix it. I imagine the solution is just buying a new sensor and plugging it in. If I found the right product it looks to be only around $15.
