Just bought this 2012 Lexus convertible last week. Not even a week passes and I crash it into jersey walls (concrete barrier wall) at a car wash I've frequented for 15+ years. I've been licensed driver for 35 years without an accident. Drove under CDL for FedEx for 9+ years..all without an accident!! Put car into drive after exiting car wash, car peels out travels approx 10 feet hits wall...I'm frantically trying to brake..nothing...hit concrete wall hard, turn wheel really hard end up facing opposite direction (spun half way around) finally think to hit the on/off button and it stops.
Praise God that I didn't run over another customer at the car wash, the attendants, or other cars! Unbelievable. Previously driven cars/trucks: Triumph TR6, Ferrari 308,(friends) Honda Accord, Jeep Cherokee, Volvo 850,Ford Explorer, Hyundai Sonata, Volvo V50, Honda Odyssey and NEVER had a problem getting the brake and gas pedal confused. 4500+ in visible damage. May discover additional damage after they take the front off. Scared to drive it now...
