Summary
SOME VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE A LACK OF POWER DURING HARD ACCELERATION (APPROX. 6,000 RPM) IN COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS BELOW 32 °F (0 °C). DTCS P0300:00, P0301:00 AND/OR P0302:00 ARE STORED IN MEMORY. • P0300:00: RANDOM MISFIRE DETECTED • P0301:00: CYLINDER NO. 1 MISFIRE DETECTED • P0302:00: CYLINDER NO. 2 MISFIRE DETECTED THIS IS CAUSED BY IMPROPER CONTROL LOGIC OF THE PCM. THE PCM MAY DETECT A FALSE MISFIRE UNDER THE SUBJECT CONDITIONS AND MAY FALL INTO FAIL SAFE MODE. TO ELIMINATE THIS CONCERN, THE PCM CONTROL LOGIC HAS BEEN CHANGED.
