I used -30F windshield washer fluid yet the windshield washer system does not work once temperatures reach +10F or below. That's 40 degrees before it's meant to freeze that the windshield washer system isn't working. I hear the pumps turn on and the fluid isn't frozen in the reservoir but no spray comes out. I tried using a pin to see if the nozzles were clogged and they weren't. I squeezed the lines to see if they felt hard like if there was frozen water in them but they squished normally.

This failure creates such hazardous driving conditions as you can't clean off the windshield while salty snow hops on your windshield from the car in front and all you can do is smear the stuff and not clean it off. I've had instances where I could not see out my windshield and have come close to crashing. Neighbor has the same car but the 2018 model. Says his system freezes but after 15 minutes of warming up his "thaw" out. Mine do not thaw out as I can go an hour with the engine fully hot and the system won't work until outdoor temperature goes back up to over 10F. Would be great if they could investigate what is freezing and recall to fix.
