Heard loud grinding sound from right rear side of vehicle when turning wheel to the right. Brought to mechanic and needed R rear wheel bearing and hub assembly costing $1000. Noticed there have been other complaints about this issue.

Vehicle had a loud grinding/growing sound took it to the dealer in October 2018 replaced right front wheel bearing, same issue took to dealer replaced left front wheel bearing in May 2019, same issue replaced left front wheel bearing again December of 2019, same issue replaced right rear wheel bearing March 2020

The contact owns a 2014 Mazda Cx-9. while driving various speeds, the brake pedal was depressed and a bumping noise was heard from the front suspension. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the ball joint and lower control arm corroded and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was later taken to neil huffman Mazda (4926 dixie hwy @102, louisville, ky 40216, phone: (502) 835-8745), but was not diagnosed due to the diagnostic fees. The manufacturer was notified and stated that there were no open recalls. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.

The contact owns a 2014 Mazda Cx-9. the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15V451000 (suspension); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was not available. Parts distribution disconnect.
