CarComplaints.com Notes: Except for a minor issue with cracked motor mounts, the 2007 MAZDA3 is a fantastic vehicle with a great reputation.

If you need to replace the motor mounts, first ask your dealer if they'll cover it -- the motor mounts were dealt with in a TSB & were recalled for some model years. Otherwise buy aftermarket motor mounts -- owners report this solves the problem. If you use the same OEM parts, they may just crack again.

1. got into my car. Dry warm weather. 2. it has happened on numerous occasions. I start it up and begin to take off and it just shuts off. Engine dies completely. Like as if my car was a manual and I wasnt giving it enough gas at take off but that isnt the problem because it is automatic. It has also done it at low operating speeds. 3. have not found a correction.

I am the owner of a 2007 Mazda 3. several days ago, while my 18 year old daughter was driving it, the car lost power, locking the steering (while she was on a curve), and she left the road, hitting a tree, and totaling the car. She was not hurt.
