This is the first time this has happened. Took my car in for an oil change and inspection at Mazda on a Friday and the TPMS light came on the following Tuesday. At first I thought they hadn't checked the tire pressure, but when I checked it, the tire pressure on all four tires was exactly what they were supposed to be.

The 2018 Mazda uses the ABS system to detect uneven wheel speed - that is not a good indicator of low air pressure. They should convert these cars to a normal air pressure sensor in each tire.
