My dashboard (crash pad) on my passenger side over my airbag is melting and cracking causing me to be concerned about safety in the event of an accident. Mazda claims that recall ended in March of 2019 but I was never notified by Mazda of this recall therefore I feel it should be extended for my safety. The crash pad becomes sticky, melts and cracks the dashboard. My vehicle is still in operation and therefore my saftey is still important

I bought a used car from a small dealership, they sold me the car without a dash harness, all the wiring that is supposed to be connected to the computer in my car is not there, so I can't do smog check. The mechanic could not check why the check engine light was on because the computer in my car was not communicating with the tool. Sold me the car with airbags not working. Lied about having it all checked out. And I still haven't received my title, registration, and plates to my car.

Car airbag light flashing on dash indicating need for repair, took to lot a I bought the car from who replaced the passenger side air bag, still have flashing airbag light and am concerned now airbag will not inflate in an emergency and that my Mazda 6 was overlooked during initial recalls for other Mazda 6 of this generation as it has the same problems with it that are listed as recalls for others.

As well as the takata recall, the passenger side of my vehicle is literally melting off. The airbag cover is sticky to the touch and who knows if it is melted into place. I've seen many other complaints and I've seen that Mazda has tried to charge people for labor which is absurd.

Takata recall - assured by dealer parts for recall in stock. Dealer kept me there, without having the parts, for hours while searching for billable work. Suggested $759 - $1059 unrelated service. Careful post-visit analysis indicated no suck service needed. Now I'm wary of returning for recall or any other reason. Heritage Mazda catonsville md 21228 invoice #5mcs115194.

Takata recall-I got a recall message in the mail. I went to dealer-maintenance and they said they fixed the problem. I have a copy of the report at home. I had it ( supposedly) fixed and then I got a notice from Mazda corporate that it still was not fixed. I have an intermittent steady airbag alarm. They said they fixed it 8/10/17. I reported to the dealer that I got a notice it had not been fixed yet. They said they did fix it and the notice was about the passenger airbag and it was a new airbag recall. I asked when they could fix it and they told me it would be a while in order to get the parts. I don't know if this is true or not. My safety and my passengers are at risk. I drive people in my car. I sent a copy of the maintenance report stating they had fixed it to my sister in case I am involved in a fatality. I can fax the maintenance report.

"takata recall" we have received the recall notices and have taken our vehicle to the dealer to check on the repair. We have received notices not that state in bold underlined print "until this repair is performed, do not allow passengers toride in the front passenger seat. Now we can not have anyone use that seat and I sure don't want my grandson to be in a car seat in the middle of the back seat for fear that he could be injured! our dealer has no idea when they will receive the parts for repair! this needs to be taken care of now! I have to sit in the back sear while my husband drives the car! this is just crazy!!

Takata inflators: I received several recall notices (e.g. 16V-594, 13V425000, 11V134000, 09V043000) regarding my 2009 Mazda6 ([xxx]) and tracy Mazda conducted various repairs. During each repair, I mentioned the airbag inflator alert (see attachment). After service or repair was conducted, I was informed that the problem was reset or cleared by the mechanic. For a period of one week of commuting (home to work or vice versa), the inflator indicator disappeared. Then it returned, during short warm up, after driving a short distance, intermittently while driving on highways/freeways, etc. I returned the vehicle following the last recall/service-repair per receipts notation, I was informed that I have to pay $85 for diagnosis fee because the air inflator indicator is not a part of the foregoing problem. If indeed the necessary repairs were done right, should my vehicle airbag inflator indicator would indicate a warning" is resetting the airbag inflator indicator the "real" solution to the problem" information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
