Over the past 3 months, passenger-side power sliding door on a 2004 MPV, intermittently would: 1) not close. Door will attempt to close, but bounces open at the end. Door power has to be turned off at the drivers control, so that the door can be manually closed. 2) door would not open. Several occasion, the door would appear to be stuck and cannot be open with any of the controls and not manually either. Door button will "beep" but door would not open. Door usually "recovers" after driving the vehicle for a short trip. 3) door will make motor whinning sound...like it's trying to open while vehicle is in motion, and once it did open on its own while vehicle was traveling at low speed. Reported to Mazda of roswell dealer, they could not reproduce problem and cannot offer much help.
