In 6 months I had to add 4 liters of engine oil while driving 6000 miles. Dealer and Mercedes state that current usage of 0.54 liter/1291.2 km. is acceptable. In the past I have rarely added oil between services. This seems unacceptable and, not being a mechanic, it suggests to me that there is significant problem here.
