Rear subframe rusted through making the vehicle unsafe to drive. I was told to park it until I had it fixed. The subframe had begun flexing as I drove and make a loud noise.

Mercedes Benz knows that their car door paneling has a defective problem and will fall off. They are ignoring my concern and refuse to pay for it. I last week I called 800-367-6372 and spoke with a live mb representative via the phone regarding case number: 2-2940129122. Today, 12/30/2019, customer advocate manager, darrell with no last name called me from phone 800-367-6372 ext 4632 and advised that he could not assist. Executive referral manager: Service manager case number: 2-2940129122 phone: 800-367-6372 ext 4632 I am very concerned as both of the doors on my coupe are having the trim to come off of the car. This is a known defect with the car door panel clips. Darrel admitted that he is aware of the issue, but lacked the authority do anything about the issue. I realize that the car is no longer under warranty, but this is horrible. I have seen two other cars at my dealership with the same trouble and getting their panels repaired. I spoke with the rbm of alpharetta manager, craig and the service representative tobias and they advised that the repair would be around $1,020 per door. (each door has two pieces of trim - 207-720-22-22-2A02 for the larger trim at the cost of $350.45 and the same for the labor. Then the smaller piece of trim under part number 207-720-20-22-64-2A04 at the cost of $135.15 an D the labor would be an additional $135.15. So the passender door would cost $971.20 plus tax or $1039.18 for each door. For the total repair for the trim on both doors equaling $2,078.36. We have purchased and currently own and maintained two Mercedes Benz. On 12/30/2019 I received a call from the Mercedes Benz customer advovate representative darrell (no last name) and he advised that he is aware of other cars with this same trouble. Darrell advised that he can be reached at phone 800-367-6372 extension: 4632

While driving on road at about 40 miles, it went into park after some jurking motion around June 13 2018 around 1 pm. We thought it was nothing serious, but again it happened on June 21 2018 at about 6 30 pm on city road with speed limit of 40 miles, ,, called Mercedes Benz dealer to report the issue and made the appointment, .. they could not find the problem or duplicate the issue for more than a week. I gave them ali the information I received from internet (see attachment), and finally they are telling me the issue is with electronic switch module, which will cost about $ 1500 plus tax. To us it is a serious safety issue and should have been reported earlier by other drivers too, and should be fixed with out charge. 4 pm to 7 pm coming from work is always a heavy traffic issue, it could have been worse, had it been hit by other vehicles.

'pre-safe inoperable' - command control system before moved to AZ, Mercedes dealership in wilkes-barre, pa kept our car for a couple days after reporting problems with radio, navigation, control system and charged us for a supposedly fixed problems. We shipped the car soon after, it didn't take long until it started giving us problems again. It doesn't matter if the car was stationary or moving, the screen will just shuts off and message on the dash board ' pre-safe inoperable' will never go away. It's been sitting in the garage since because we are concern of our safety.

I was driving my 2010 Mercedes E350 sedan at highway speeds, when out of nowhere the sunroof just shatters into pieces. There was no large object that came towards me. I had my screen pulled over, so thankfully most of the glass didn't come in the car. I pulled over to see what happened and called the toll road authority. They summoned an officer to help me. The officer searched the area of the freeway for any object that could have caused this, and found nothing. At closer inspection he and I noticed that glass bowed outward and no major body damage behind the sunroof indicated that no object caused this. I then went to the dealership and told them about this spontaneous shattering only to be told that it's impossible for something like this to happen on its own. I was told perhaps it's a 'pebble' and they would give me a quote to fix this with them. I am convinced that this shattered...in fact exploded (that's how it sounded) by itself and was a defective glass. Please look into this as I am relieved I didn't have my toddler in the back seat with the sunroof screen open for more light, only for it to have shattered and been all over him because of the wind direction!

Sporadically the car goes into park while the vehicle is in motion. This happens with a sudden jerk and is dangerous to the occupant and also to other vehicles as it comes to a sudden halt in the middle of the road. This is definitely a safety issue and can even be fatal/or cause serious injuries to the occupants of the vehicle and to the occupants of other vehicles. At other times it will keep shifting to park when the driver puts it into reverse or drive when stationary. Took it to the dealership and they say their diagnostics does not show a problem. When we called Mercedes they say that if the dealer cannot see the problem there is no problem. We have finally been able to make a video recording but unfortunately the file is too large to attach due to the potential dangerous outcome we request that the higher level Mercedes engineers look into and in the meantime the vehicle should be recalled

I bought a 2010 E350 mb in November of 2015 as a birthday gift. My 3rd week of own it the check engine light came on and keeps going on and off. Brought it back to the dealer where I bought it and told me to bring it to mb. Turn out to be heck engine light due to faulty camshaft adjuster solenoid on Mercedes-Benz E350. Why is their no recall on this, it cost $8,000 to get it fixed?

The contact owns a 2010 Mercedes Benz 350E. He stated that on the left side of the steering column there are 2 options, one for the cruise control and one for the turn signal; however, when attempting to activate the turn signals, the cruise control activated. The turn signal and the cruise control buttons are too close together. The dealer stated that they have not received any complaints and that all of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz were designed that way. The incorrect option was activated on two occasions. The failure mileage was 300 and the current mileage was 1200. Updated 11/03/09 updated 11/04/09
