After reading all the complaints i thought i would add mine, It looks to me like MB did this on purpose if you look on eBay over 1200 rebuilt pumps have been sold........ 1200!!!! That is just rebuilt, I called the dealer and they told me its there big money maker! WOW can you believe that? Why would they even admit that unless there killing there customers. looks to me like MB did this if you look they only say you can use MB pentosin CHF11S, Well it breaks down the o rings over time and kills the system its obvious and MB did not do anything about this one more bailout for them, Its Sick i tell you the hole this is bad, You use to be able to say you could drive MB for 200k, Well not anymore on average they are going out before 60K on a 100K Car? That is not fair average price is 3000 to 20000 to fix, wow, someone needs to think class action here, Call me anytime to discuss i am dealing with it now i own a auto repair shop and i have never thought that MB would do this to there number 1 customers its sick Well its just plain sad, I feel bad for the guy that cant fix this on his own, Its not Easy its hard, and to do the job 100% you really need 1000.00 star computer from MB, TO reset codes, And run Rodeo, Like i said i feel bad. I called 3 different dealers and they all said the same thing THIS is how they stay in business. That is not fair, 50k The car inst even broke in at 50 k and it needs a 5000 pump from a dealer? It would be different if it was not set up to fail, Like i said the fluid that they recommend kills the pump period! ASK anyone why the pump failed or sprung a leek? they will tell you that stuff got in the system well, How is that possible the only thing there is the metal and gaskets. So0o0o0o... do the math, Also the system was complexly re designed by Mercedes in 2007.... So they no what they did...... I loved MB until this i see all these people over 200 complaints totaled on the net. ON THE NET, So how many for real??? SAD i have read over 200 different complaints and still no recall no help to the customer who bought a 100k to 130k Car from MB, if anyone needs any help, You can call me anytime! or Text, I no how to fix this and i would be glad to help you try and save your nice car... and some money, but if we do not pool together and hold MB accountable at some point no one ever will and they will just make a few more billion. 6-0-8
