While the car was in park on level ground, parking brake not applied, it came out of park, went into drive & moved foward. This happened on two occasions, 6/6/99& 4/27/2000

Consumer was having a bouncy & rough ride. Dealer said it could be the transmission. Also, driver's side seat rattles when getting in & out. Dealer has tightened the bolts. Seat is loose, and if in an accident it could be a risk. Dealer was replacing the parts.

Vehicle downshifted into passing gear while driving down a hill and vehicle accelerated. Brakes did not response, causing consumer to run into a bus and telephone pole. Also, dual airbags did not deploy. But, cover came off, resulting in a broken hip and pelvis. Prior to this accident consumer was complaining about transmission. But, dealer stated it was not important.
