Suddenly I get this on and off of the blower every 3 to 4 days or more. Driving without AC is very uncomfortable in California. Driving without defroster in fog, rain etc is dangerous. Dealer calls it an electronic "glitch" and wants $1400 to replace the entire automatic ventilation control panel. Could it be a problem with a dirty electronic board or something to do with the sensor that monitors temperature for the automatic system?

Blower stopped working. Replaced resistor, fan worked for 1yr and failed again. This time replaced blower motor, fan cage and resistor (under warranty from Advanced, free replacement).
