OBD showed misfires on cylinder 5 and other random misfires. Solution is replacement of one ignition coil, new plugs and an oil change (recommended due to miss-fires). About $100 ($75 for coil and $4 each for plugs) in parts and ~$650 in labor. Requires disassembly of most of the top of the engine just to get at the coils and wires. This is the SECOND grand marquis I have owned with exactly the same problem. For reference, Amazon sells all 8 Coils for ~$35, and if you include labor through amazon, it adds an additional $88. Half an hour after driving off the dealer's lot, it's misfiring again, but not throwing a check engine code. (Why not? )
