The contact owns a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. The contact stated that the driver's side visor fell down, obstructing his vision of the roadway. The contact stated that he had to manually attach the visor to the top of the vehicle for it to remain upright. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the entire visor would need to be replaced. The failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 45,000. The contact owns a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. The contact stated that the low beam headlight failed and the contact had to drive using the high beam headlights. The local mechanic replaced the relay switch and the headlight switch, but the failure was not corrected and the contact could only use the high beam headlights. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where a diagnostic was performed, which located the failure at the headlight module. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 52,000 and the current mileage was 53,000.

: the contact stated the vehicle was not equipped with quad sun visors. The original sun visors covered only one direction. The manufacturer was informed of the problem. However, the contact purchased additional sun visors to cover both the windshield and the side window at the same time.
