I noticed the paint beginning to peel about three - four years ago. I mentioned it to the dealership and they couldn't have been more dis-interested. They said it was probably due to the car being left ooutside all the time. REALLY ??? I told him that I guess I should be covering it when it rains too.... He wasn't happy. TS . I then went to a paint shop and they said it was a poor paint job and it was not adhearing to the primer and should be repainted by the manufacturer. Well that didn't fly either... I was surprised to see the number of other Grand Marguis that are experiencing the same problem. Has Mercury acknowledged this problem and provided a means to get the car repainted at their cost??? I can't find anything about that on the internet??? Is there any help that you can provide????? I am getting concerned now because the paint is coming off in sheets while I am driving. See the pictures. HELP !!!!!!
