I bought this 2008 mercury grand marquis with 11,981 miles on it and its like a brand new car except the only problem is the speed control does not work. I am in a wheelchair and can not use my legs and i could really use the speed control for when i have a long drive.
The speed control light does not come on. I have looked all over the car for a fuse or relay that may go to the speed control but have had no luck. I have looked in the owners manuel but it shows nothing.I have replaced the speed control switch that is on the steering wheel because it felt like something was loose inside it but didn't fix the problem,
I don't understand how a car with under 12,000 miles on it can have a problem with the speed control and i'm sure the lady i bought the car from hardly ever used it because she hardly drove it......
I NEED ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN TELL ME HOW I CAN FIX THE SPEED CONTROL,PLEASE
