I have owned four (4) Mercury Grand Marquis... Yes, I really like the car! All have had issues with the Lighting Control Module. The last time Ford took responsibility was up to 2005... I was unaware of the 2005 recall and paid out of pocket! AGAIN, with my 2009 (btw, it’s pretty clean for 10 years old) I have the same LCM issue and Ford Motor takes no responsibility... something simply wrong with this. Since they no longer make this car I’m confident that through attrition they believe their liability will go away. Not a good way to treat a long standing good customer. At least I used to be.
