While driving 50 mph the consumer felt something under H is foot snap. The consumer lost speed, pulled over to the side of the road, to discover the bolt holding the accelerator pedal had fallen off. The consumer was able to drive the vehicle in order to have the repair done.

(temperature related?) this is a very dangerous scenario, especially when on slick road conditions. The mechanic at the dealership tells me the problem is with the throttle body and linkage, and entire throttle body assembly must be replaced at an expense of over $300. This problem seems to pretty much parallel the problem w/ the 4.0L SOHC engines that are a part of NHTSA campaign id # 00V422000 recall. And yet there is no recall for this problem on the 5.0L engine. I don't get it!.
