Noticed loud noise coming from front drivers side tire. It progressively got louder. I drove it like that for 15K miles or so, then it broke. Was able to limp to the mechanic. They also found the front hubs were bad and replaced them. For $1000 they put it new cv axle, 2 new hubs, and both shocks. Not bad.
