The contact owns a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 25 mph, an unknown warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the radiator was replaced, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the three way heater hose needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 106,000.
