I am waiting for the quote on the repair, read about the California class action lawsuit. Why would this involve only Californians and not Texans if manufacturer is the same.

Will there be a recalled issued on this problem...I have had my vehicle parked for over 4 months due to safety concerns on the effect in traffic on freeway when vehicle down shifts in middle of fast traffic.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED as much as I love the car I have been told this is a defect that was known about from the beginning. I have taken it to have it checked out and was told it would be about $5000 to have fixed. It has become dangerous it stalls when taking off I have had a couple of minor close calls. I love my car it is in great condition the transmission has made it dangerous to drive. I was reading that the dealer was suppose to have told me about the transmission but never did. If this is any help or assistance I can get it would be appreciated.

I have read about to such cases already and it seems like there is no hope for me.

This car jerks a lot when downshifting in low speeds example from 40mph slowing down to 10mph or when going to a stop in red traffic light on intersections.

The jerks is so strong that i though i was hit from behind by another car.

Also during traffic.. example in rush hours.. when the speed is about 10-20 mph, the car also jerks!

What a jerking car!
