Outlander GT S-AWC V6

The difference between the odometer and real speed is 7 to 10 km. Higher speed, higher difference.I used GPS and road check devices to verify the discrepancy. Mentioned it one time to my dealer but the problem had not fixed.

Outlander 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,214 miles

My speedometer is about 8-9% off. Aside from being able to tell from 20+ years of driving, my Garmin GPS says 92kph when the speedometer says 100kph. A salesman at Mitsubishi suggested it may be related to the tire size, as the Outlander will take 16", 17" or 18" tires. The service department told me that since I wasn't using a Mitsubishi testing device, they did not care what I thought and suggested "customer trust Mitsubishi installed speedometer".

Outlander ES 3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 843 miles

When riding the truck @ 100 Km/H then I noticed that everyone were passing me on the highway. I installed my Garmin GPS and I was in fact running 92 Km/H. On another occasion my wife was following me with my second car, she noticed that I was running slow, again 8 - 10 bellow limit. I asked the dealership to reprogram the cluster but they said that we need to make complaints like this one to have it fixed.
