My vehicle is a 2015 & I put a lot of highway miles on the vehicle. I stay on top off all maintenance's & do not feel that a vehicle that is 3 years old should have a bad A/C compressor. My vehicle is out of factory warranty & according to my mechanic , a very substantial amount of $$ to repair, close to 2k with parts & labor. I wish Mitsubishi would step up & offer some assistance with this problem.
