This problem has been reported to the local dealership whom fixed the recall and they are refusing to correct the other problem that is related to the recall. The emergency brake will not release in lower freezing temperatures and or it will release and while driving seize up and stop the rear driver side tire. This causes an instant swaying of the vehicle and could potentially cause vehicle to roll if this happens at higher speeds. So far it has only happened under 35 mph. The dealership claims it-??s the cable for the emergency brake that need to be replaced and there is not faulty parts that had been replaced under the recall. On that same wheel that this problem occurs the caliper has been stuck and worn. Down the pad and now is wearing into the rotor. It-??s only on one side and everything that was listed under the recall for 2016 models and newer seems to match the problems with this vehicle as well. All the brakes and rotors were replaced a year ago. A tire was replaced after it had seized up and was dragging, wearing down the tire in one spot. I am asking that my vehicle have another inspection by a different facility that would be willing to look further and assist in reporting reconsideration to include the repairs that are needed on this vehicle.

The car when speeding it always like crashes since new. When you accelerate it doesn't go right away. Also the brakes get rusted right away so it makes sound. Also the air heater or ac are always working even when its off.

Rotars prematurely severely rusted. May be related to the fact that no protection was used for the car against rock salt as indicated in latest safety recall, which only mentioned the front cross members. If protection was not in place this would affect any area of the car that could carrode or rust where exposed.

My rear drivers side brake caliper froze last year and currently my rear https://hoodsite.com/passenger brake caliper is frozen. The other day I was driving and I noticed a constant scraping sound, I was able to jack up the car and spin the tire and confirm that the brake is making contact with the rotor.

2015 Mitsubishi Outlander sport was part of NHTSA recall no. : 18V-070 in early 2018. Due to unavailable parts, the recall on rear brake issue and calipers was performed in August 2018. Now 8 months later, when going to get a nail removed from a tire at tire dealer, their tech noticed a new rubbing sound in rear passanger side of vehicle. After further inspection, the caliper that was replaced in August is now seized again.

While driving and braking, I notice a hesitation, sometimes to slow and sometimes a burst of speed. This is usually starting out or trying to slow or stop. I also at the same time notice sometimes maybe hitting brakes leads to this. Not sure if power train or electrical but very concerned. Also, I had a friend that had a 2015 outlander and the airbags did not execute at 50 mph accident. This is a very high concern. I checked VIN but did not see anything.
