CarComplaints.com Notes: Radiators are still cracking, leaking coolant and destroying transmissions. Which is a shame when you consider that otherwise, this would be a great small pickup truck.

Previous complaint 10226919. On Thursday, May 8, I left my Frontier at the quality dealership in temecula as directed by the company. According to the service manager, a company inspector viewed the windshield damage and denied responsibility for defective materials. They could not replace it and referred a glass company. This is an ultimate insult to consumers who are duped into paying thousands of dollars for inferior quality materials and workmanship in America. No wonder the turnover in sales and service at this dealership is excessive. In two years and many trips with minor vehicle problems, that have never been resolved we are still charged. I have not spoken to the same person twice. Repeat customers are treated like suckers.

My front windshield has a tiny ding in the uppermost corner passenger side that has developed a diagonal crack extending more than half way across toward the driver's side. My nephew has the same problem with his vehicle also. The company referred me to the dealership who of course, tells me that this is normal for 21st century safety glass that cannot localize pebble strikes which requires replacement of the windshield assembly.
