Getting a loud ticking noise on cold start mornings. Been to the dealership I bought it from three times. The last one was with the Nissan dealer rep. These engines all tick, but not like mine. No one can tell me what causes the noise, but they have no problem telling me it's normal. If it's normal, why doesn't it sound like the new ones we took for a drive? If the engine has "normal" sounds like this at 32,800 miles it should be deafening by the time it hits 60,000 miles. It sounds like a bad valve and it goes away once the engine is warmed up. No engine codes or other signs of trouble.
