The car will stall as you are driving and will only start after about five minutes. No codes show up and the mechanic has tried replacing the distribtor and the fuel pump. Any ideas???

After I got a tune up I had drove about 30 miles I got up to about 60mph and it stopped picking up speed. So I started to pull off the road and then it cut off. I was told it was the timing belt but, with some research found out that I have a chain I have no idea the difference but was told that the chain shouldn't have went. Was just wondering if maybe a spark plug was loose? PLEASE HELP ME!?!?!
