On the morning of Sept 28, 2001, I started my '97 Plymouth Voyager to begin a vacation trip. After a few minutes with the engine running, I noticed that the air bag warning light stayed illuminated. During the trip, I also discovered that neither the horn nor the cruise control worked. These symptoms appear similar to recall #01V153000..

The air bag light comes on about 30% of the time, the dealer repaired but the consumer is requesting reimbursement, the consumer believes this is a design defect and that the air bag components should not have such a failure during the reasonable lifetime of the vehicle. Nlm

Clock spring needs replacing. Noticed recent recall for Chrysler sport utility for this same problem. Also noticed a large number of van owners have this same problem. Are you investigating" is there going to be a recall on minivan clock springs due to high incidence of failure"
