The serpentine belt comes off causing the power steering to fail, and the alternator not to work. This has occurred off and on since the vehicle was new. This failure occurs in motion when the streets are wet and a bit bumpy.

My vehicle hit the rear of a Jeep Cherokee at approx. 10 mph. I stopped and exited the vehicle to look at the damage and found practically nothing. The engine compartment then burst into flames and destroyed the entire front of the van. I do not know what caused the fire, but I thought I should report the incident. I have sent the van to the junk yard. I have taken several pictures of the damage and would be glad to share them with you.
