Serpentine belt comes off while driving in or after a rain or after snow melts, wet road conditions. This belt controls the power steering and is almost impossible to steer, except straight. The females in my family can not control this vehicle.

Serpentine belt repeatedly comes off. Replacing idler pulley, tensioner pulley, and belt remedies the situation for 6 months or so. The problem is so prominent in other vehicles with the same engine that gates and Goodyear sell a kit that will permanently fix Chrysler's goof up. Failure results in loss of power steering and loss of battery charging. Vehicle continues to run until the battery dies.
