The transmission slips and bangs bad after driving around 65 mph then slowing down and turning on an off ramp trans fluid temp is about 195 degrees at time of incident. This slip happens in low gears sometimes as well after driving around on short trips. Also, replaced gear shift sprague lock something two times already. Also the ac heater fan motor has burned out, now new one works intermittently.

2006 Pontiac Grand Prix - defective right front wheel bearings. I had my right front wheel bearing replaced two years in a row. Jan, 2009 and Jan 2010. This was covered under the drive system warranty. In order to get this resolved immediately, I took the vehicle to my local shop since the davis Pontiac went out of business 1 week after I purchased the car. The work was done and I maintained the original invoice and my proof of payment. However, I contacted Pontiac and requested reimbursement for the $500 I spent on the labor and parts and they will not honor the reimbursement because I do not have the defective parts. Obviously, there is an issue if the right front wheel bearing went two years in a row. I am very disappointed with GM and don't plan to purchase another vehicle from them since they clearly don't value their customers nor policies and don't want to work to resolve the dilemma.
