I need to know why your system shows no recalls for my vehicle using the VIN number, but has (7) recalls if I use year/make/model, the system should allow me to run the VIN, see all recalls, and even report with proof if the recall is complete, like a check list. Your system is useless if the manufacturer is not agreeing to the recalls under the year/make/model and assigning the recalls to the VIN to grant approval to dealers to repair, a dealer will not complete a GM recall unless GM approves of the recall for a particular VIN. I have electrical issues with my vehicle that falls in the category of the recalls, but I'm not paying out of pocket for these repairs, when they are known safety issues.

Poorly designed sunroof drainage system (specifically drain nipple at end of tubing) causing severe leaks to inside cab along driver and passenger front doors and floor. Water damage to power windows, locks, mirrors. Water damage to ip to body harness connector under front driver side kick plate causing computer to produce false check engine codes related to app and forcing engine into reduced power mode at high speeds creating possibility for accidents.

I have to have the electrical computer replaced - the car drops to 1st gear and doesn't move up, the door locks lock then unlock and continue to do that, the engine light comes on, the power steering alarm comes on (but I don't lose power steering) and the speedometer stops working! this happens while driving with no notice except the door locks start first them the other issues happen simultaneously.

Ignition locked and could not remove key to stop engine, only way to shut off engine was to disconnect battery cables--called dealer in frederick, md the very next morning--had to have my car towed to the GM dealer, frederick, md, the dealership repaired the problem and I was charged $512.36 and I paid the invoice of $512.36. I received a recall letter on March 14, 2014 #14V-047 -- I am requesting the reimbursement in the matter.

2007 Saturn Ion 3 manual sedan 1.) fuel pump delivery system recall and has been repaired after a serious fuel leak was detected. 2.)purge flow solenoid- engine light came on after the pump delivery system was detected but was not repaired because it was not included in recall. Car gets very little gas mileage because the fuel to oxygen ratio being off. Every time I go to the gas station I cannot get my car to start. It doesn't matter if I have half of a tank of gas or almost on empty. It takes several tries and only starts after I rev the engine because the fuel to oxygen ratio and the fuel pump floods my car as soon as the fuel pump is engaged. I know that after this happens so many times that it will cause the starter to burn up in my car. 3.) ignition switch- cannot turn key on as if the steering wheel is locked/ cannot turn key off/ take key out and car is still running! disconnect battery to shut the car off. 4.) electronic power steering- acts as if the power steering has a short. While driving with speeds as little as 15mph in a residential neighbor hood or 70mph on the interstate. The power steering light comes on and all power steering is lost and becomes almost impossible to drive. After shutting the car off and restarting the car the power steering works but shortly after it fails again. This happens every time I drive my car. The first time this happened I was on an exit ramp on the interstate with a very sharp curve. I could barely control the vehicle. Needless to say my children are no longer allowed to ride in this car until it is repaired.

I was driving on a highway around 6 P.M. on my way home from work with my 3 year old in the back seat when suddlenly I felt my steering wheel jerk. I quickly realized something was wrong so I exited the road and went to a nearby gas station. I saw that my power steering light came on. This ia a serious problem, and GM was unwilling to fix the issue. I have a 100 thousand mile power train warrenty yet they say this problem is not covered. I have had other problems in the past with the electrical system as well as the fuel pump. Why has this problem not been addressed" I have seen several different people from several different rescources that have had the same problem, so why is this daingerous problem not been disclosed to GM's customers"

I was driving down the street and all of the sudden the car was acting funny and not driving normally. Then the pwr str light came on. I pressed my onstar button and asked them to run a diagnostic check. It came back with nothing. I proceeded to the store I was going to. When I went back to the car and turned it on the steering wheel / column was loose and drove normally for about a minute. After that there was a beep and the pwr str light came on again and it was very difficult to steer.
