windows / windshield problem
Stray rock hit windshield on interstate. Had windshield repaired by a professional. The next day, 6 inch long crack. Now it has spread all the way across. I've been driving 16 years and I've had many vehicles. Never had one crack after being repaired especially with only 2300 miles. Because of the cameras in this vehicle, OEM windshield is recommended and it will set you back. Changing deductible to 0 after the replacement

Car parked. Crack appeared descending from top of glass on passenger side then heading towards mirror. Over the course of several days, it's now into the driver visibility. Subaru has documented (and legal lawsuits) windshield glass problems. I believe this is one of them on the new Ascent model. New car, 2 weeks old, under 700 miles, and now needs a replacement windshield. I've driven for decades and never experienced before! A fragile, vulnerable glass shield in the front of the SUV does not make me feel safe.

Sitting in my driveway warming up the vehicle, the windshield just cracked starting at the base of the passenger side. Crack is about 12 inches now. No impact. Smooth on the outside. Looks like it cracked from the inside?
