I have already had to replace the engine in this POS - the last time it started severely overheating. Poured money in to it at the mechanic, never could figure out the problem after replacing part after part after part. It eventually got to the point I had no choice but to replace the entire motor. Replaced with a used Tribeca B9 motor with only 40K miles on it...guess what? Happening again! Blowing white smoke, overheating...replacing parts left and right and NOTHING is working. I have researched online and it seems this is a very common problem with this lovely POS! I thought Subaru's were supposed to be made to last? I will NEVER own another one. Not only have I POURED money into this one but most Subaru parts have to come directly from Subaru! I about choked when I had to go to the dealership to buy front windshield wipers (because nowhere else has them!) and paid over $60!!! WTF?!?!? Oh and they didn't last a year...it needs them again! Nope, Rain-X!
