February 15, 2012, I bought my grandson a new Subaru Impreza at White's Mountain Motors. I bought a Subaru because of their reputation for safety, reliability and a good warranty. About 7 months later, Sept. 12, 2012, it wasn't shifting right and had a grinding noise. We took it to the service dept., and they drove it 4 miles and said they couldn't duplicate the sound and nothing was wrong with it. My grandson continued to drive the car until Oct. 26, 2013, at which time it had to be towed to the dealership because it would no longer go into gear or move.

White's refused to honor the warranty stating that the failure was due to different tire sizes , which they had checked April 15, 2013, and made no mention of a problem. They said it caused damage to the center differential. My daughter had an independent mechanic go to White's and check the parts after White's had disassembled the car, and he stated that he observed no wear that could contribute to that damage. Alec also had an accident where he was cited for following too close for conditions, and the impact detector was triggered, but the airbags didn't deploy. I am hoping that someone can give me advice as to where I could turn. It will cost over $7,000.00 to fix.
