The contact owns a britax advocate 70 G3 rearfacing infant seat, model number 39bg81A. The seat was manufactured in October of 2013. The safety seat was being utilized in a 2015 Subaru Outback. The contact stated that the harness straps fractured. Upon further inspection, the contact noticed that the latch straps fractured and the foam padding to protect the child from a side impact also fractured on both sides. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The purchase date was not available.
