When we bought the car, we noticed a weird noise. Systemic buzzing when you got close enough to the car for the key (sensor) to realize you were nearby. Within months, we knew it was an issue. Took it to a different dealer, and they informed us that the brake actuator was not shutting off - like there was a vacuum leak somewhere so it was constantly priming itself. We asked what would happen.. eventually it would fail. Cost to replace was around $2500. The dealer who sold us the vehicle said ALL cars of that year did that, it was NORMAL. They even had a service guy come out and listen to it - he said NORMAL.
Yeah, don't listen to salesman..
Fix - well.. someone ran into us and their insurance had to pay. Funny thing is.. they ran into us on passenger front corner - damaged the actuator.. and THEY had to repair it... Insurance declared the car a total loss due to the cost of the actuator (and the other damage).
