2010 Volkswagen Cc, 2.0T engine, auto transmission, with just under 13,000 miles. When I first start the car I can idle forward with no problems, but after it's warmed up I start getting very jerky forward movement from a stopped position. I tried putting the car in D and S, but get the same results. From a complete stop, I take my foot off the brake pedal, and don't touch the pedals at all, just let the car idle forward. I notice that the rpms drop from about 900 to about 800, then shoot up to about 950, the car jerks forward, then stops again as the rpms drop back down to about 800, then back up to 950 or 1000 as the car jerks forward again. Eventually, it smooths out and starts rolling forward, but it's extremely annoying and potentially dangerous.

I have a 2010 Volkswagen Cc with dsg that lurches as if its going to stall after taking my foot of the brakes from a dead start. The problem is worse with the A/C on. I have called Volkswagen of America to open a case, but to no avail.

This problem has happened twice with my Volkswagen Cc. I was driving and just accelerating on to the freeway when the car decelerated and turned off while in drive. When this happened in Sept. Of 2010 they had my car for one month and replaced the megatronics unit. I do not feel safe driving this car as it shuts off with no notice. I am concerned that there is a flaw in this model that cannot be fixed.

2010 Volkswagen passat Cc with dsg transmission lurches and nearly stalls when taking off from a stop. The car will also shutter and feel like it is about to stall when coming to a stop. The lurching gets exceptionally worse as the vehicle warms up, it will lurch 3-4 times before coasting. It is also near impossible to take off from a start without a lurch or jerk.

Mechatronic unit malfunction after 6000mi-car moves forward but not backward; harsh and jumping stop and go; rattles or spark-like noise inside front panel and getting worse when road is rough.

Hesitation and juttering, vibration, surging when accelerating after a stop. There is no rhyme or reason to when the car is going to act up and not accelerate as it is supposed to. Especially dangerous while in traffic or at an intersection.the car does not shift gears smoothly, it is a constant jerking while driving. The cars also rolls up to 6" when you put it in park even when on a flat level surface. The dealer kept my car for 1 month after I complained a second time, they replaced the mechatronics and also updated the software, there is no improvement or changes. My first complaint was at my first service and they said they couldn't duplicate the problem. My car is back at the dealer and has been for 3 weeks now, again, they are saying they cannot duplicate the problem and have told me the performance of the car is "normal" because of the mechatronic system. I have also contacted Volkswagen corporate because the dealer has not been very helpful and they insist that the car drives like it should. I've owned many new cars and have never had the issues I am having with this car. I do not feel safe in this car while driving it. I drove another Cc and it drove exactly like mine. Volkswagen needs to address this immediately whatever the issue is, seems to me it is an engineering design problem.

Significant hesitation and juttering, vibration, and acceleration lag when starting from a stationary stop. Issue also occurs when starting from a slow or virtually stopped condition. Vehicle wants to cut out (engine appears to want to shut down) before lurching forward while gently accelerating. The issue is hazardous when parking in parking lots because there is no finesse on slow speed acceleration. This issue is challenging when traveling in heavy traffic at slow speeds. This issue also occurs when slowing down from highway speeds as the engine appears to cut out before recovering to a normal resting revolution. Dealership has confirmed with VW that this is within "normal operating expectations", there are obvious problems with the vehicle's gearbox that I wish VW would solve.

When car is cold, acceleration-stopping is fine. After engine is warm, take foot off brake and car lunges forward two or more times. When accelerate, there is slight hesitation then it clunks and proceeds forward, throwing passenger heads backwards. Mentioned problem to dealer at first oil change, but was told that's just the way the new transmission operates. Waiting to see if recall issued before next oil change. Love car but lunging and hesitation is dangerous!

I was driving 65 mph on the freeway when the car, "with out warning"the car decelerated and stopped. It was in drive, I had to put it in park and restart it. I was very lucky not to get hit. This is a major issue and needs to be addressed. I am taking it to the dealer today. 09/27/2010.

Two months into a new purchase of a 2010 Cc I noticed a constant" bucking and jerking" of the car in traffic or after the car becomes hot.. its very noticeable at low speed stop and go traffic.. it's very annoying. And many times shifting from reverse to 1st it feels like the gears take a second to connect so there is a "hard buck" once it does and you can hear a hard cranking noise. Ive taken the car back to dealer it took them a day and a half to duplicate the problem. They say its the mechatronics system. I've been waiting nearly 4 weeks for replacement.

Every time my 2010 Volkswagen Cc with a dsg transmission (see action no. PE09035) comes to a stop, and every time is starts in motion from a stop, the entire car trembles. My local dealer (ganley) in bedford, Ohio, has told me that since there are no error codes, the vehicle "is supposed to do that." Volkswagen of America has taken the identical position. I know the car is not supposed to do what it is doing.

The contact owns a 2010 Volkswagen Cc. When attempting to proceed from a stop light, the vehicle hesitated then lurched forward. Also as he pulled the vehicle into his garage and shifted into park, the vehicle lurched into a garbage can. When he parked in front of the dealership, the vehicle rolled forward. The parking cement block stopped the vehicle from rolling. The vehicle remained at the dealership. He was advised that the cause of the failure was the dsg/mechtronics. He was told that it would take 3 days to 3 weeks to repair the vehicle. He contacted the manufacturer and was waiting for a response. The current and failure mileages were approximately 250.
