I have a 2013 CC 4 cylinder with turbo. I was driving down the freeway when the engine suddenly started shaking and the EPC & check engine lights came up on the dashboard. The engine started shaking and I lost almost all power. I had to pull over on the shoulder, then restarted the car with the same symptoms. I was able to barely make it off the freeway into the next exit ramp, and was able to park it on the street, my car was not going anywhere. I had to call a tow truck to take me to the closest dealership, as my car was still under warranty. After waiting 5 hrs, the technician came and told me the car was now running fine, and that they were not able to replicate the fault after clearing the faults and driving it, even when the computer reported misfires on several pistons.I was concerned that this could happen again, and then put me or my family in risk of a freeway accident. I opened a complaint with VW customer care and opened a case, as the dealership told me they could not replaced any suspected bad parts until the fault comes back again. When I explained my concern they did not care much about my situation, neither the expense I had to make for the towing truck. Customer care was not help at all, as they just defended their internal protocols and dealerships. I guess they will only fix problems (if at all) if the engine breaks totally down, or if I get into an accident. I never had such a poor customer experience. I will get rid of this car and never buy a VW vehicle again. I lost all respect for what the brand used to stand for.
