Again dealer didn't find anything wrong, now out of warranty and has to be rebuilt or replaced it shifts fine

but the bearings in differential are loose making growling noise at low speeds and glunking at take off.

Update from Aug 20, 2013: It'll cost between $5,000 & $10,000 for shop to replace.......or $500 to $2000 to rebuild if you pull it yourself...

should've bought a Ford. My wife and I both got new cars in 2005 her Focus still running good at 90,0000 miles with minor maintenance. The VW has had nothing but issues.....at twice the cost to buy...
