It's stuck at the garage and VW have been working on it for 3 weeks and are no further forward. Both the electric handbrake and the auto function do not work as they should - it's a really odd problem, and apparently its not the only Golf with the same problem in the garage. Is this more of a common issue on the mark 8 Golfs, and could it be the first re-call?
