exauhst leak from egr valve
If you hear a hissing noise while driving your Jetta TDI it is likely that you have a leak coming from your EGR valve. And unfortunately you cannot just replace a seal you have to replace the entire unit or have it bypassed. Having it bypassed will usually flag you during an state emissions test, so its definitely not a long term fix. This car will be the death of me
