The drivers door is the only door that has a lock cylinder in the handle and the design appears to allow moisture into it. During really cold nights when the vehicle is left outside the moisture in the lock assembly freezes and expands to the point where you are no longer able to move the door handle. So you must get in the passenger side and open the drivers door from the inside and then walk around and get in.

I contacted the dealer about it and the service member told me that this is a known problem and I was promised that I would get new parts out of the 2015 that have addressed that issue.

I received that vehicle back from the deal and everything work perfectly for about a month until we had another cold spell and sure enough the door latch froze up again. This fix didn't fix it. Still looking for a solution from the dealer.
