The clock spring switch failed in my steering wheel and the dealership diagnosed the problem very quickly. My problem is the time it is going to take to get the part in and fix the problem. With this switch broken I have no driver side airbag and no horn, both of which are safety issues. I have been given no ETA as to when parts to fix this problem will be available. The service manager said that these parts are on perpetual back order. He stated that he has another car on his repair list where the part has been on backorder for over a year. This is a safety issue and parts to fix this problem should not be on backorder that long.
