About 3 years ago, my sunroof starting making a horrible screeching noise when opening and closing. Sometimes it will even stick in the open position. I have to keep turning the knob to the sunroof until it finally closes. Not fun when it is raining. I have applied WD40 multiple times the wheels and track. It doesn't help. Not worth mentioning to the dealership, as others have done this and they just tell them to lube the track/wheels. Seems to be a common problem with VW Jetta Sportwagons.
